(Noah, my grandson made these pumpkin cuteys for us to enjoy during Halloween. Can you tell what they are? )
Just wanted to say Happy Halloween from our house to yours! This seems to be the beginning of those wonderful fall and winter holidays. Its not long to Thanksgiving tons of good food, family hugs and groans, then Christmas with scattered paper , twinkling lights, decorations, presents, and loads of sweet treats!

(My grandaughter, Kyra and a carved pumpkin!)
I love spending time with my family at any time, but I dearly love sharing holidays with them too. As our grandchildren grow, it becomes more difficult to spend time with them , because Santa Claus comes to their house. They want to stay there and play with all their loot and rest and relax. We try to make rounds and wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I look forward to spending time with Jarrod and Laura as we have not had the opportunity to do much of that in the past since Jarrod has always lived in North Dakota for much of his grownup years. Finally they are back in Georgia. His kids are 13, 7, 3, and 1..so you can imagine the fun at their house on Christmas morning...and oh how the paper will fly!!! Derrick has 2 boys ages 7, and 4 and his 4 year old will be soooo excited. I can hear him now and see his eyes wide with surprise and wonder. Those kids make Christmas worth while!
I am going to write a post soon on my grandmother Daughtry. In fact, I started it tonight; but want to do it justice and what I had written just didn't convey that, but man what a wonderful amazing woman and I miss her and want to be more like her each day. I can in my soul, but never in appearance as she was a petite woman and full of vitality! More on that later......
So to get our holidays started, our home wishes your home a very happy Halloween! Hope you enjoy your treats and not many tricks were played on any of you!
Trick or Treat!
